Class Size

We are a close-knit community that is uniquely equipped to provide students with individualized attention. Small class sizes create an intimate learning environment that allows teachers to connect to students and their needs. Our student-to-teacher ratio is maximum 15:1.

Our faculty and staff care intently about our students, their course work and their future career goals.

We build strong relationships that encourage students to achieve their full academic and professional potential. At KCA DeSoto, we go beyond academics to develop responsible, independent, well-rounded and accountable young adults.

Our Difference

Our faculty & staff care intently about our students' course work and future career goals.
We apply the following elements to our program to engage our students in learning:

1. Innovative, experiential approach based on the concept of learning by application.

2. We expect the most from students with average to above-average academic abilities.

3. We remove competition as a major motivation and de-emphasize comparisons of students as a means of evaluation.

4. Comprehensive and specific feedback is provided to parents and students concerning skills mastered and areas that need improvement.

5. Incorporation of a rational discipline structure that excludes the use of corporal punishment or humiliation.

6. Physical education program that promotes fitness, healthy competition, teamwork and leadership.
