Standardized Testing

We maintain accountability and measure student performance by using the following standardized tests:

Children's Progress Academic Assessment (Grades PK-2)

The Children's Progress Academic Assessment (CPAA) is an adaptive, child-friendly, computer-based assessment that provides the right level of challenge in early literacy and mathematics.

Comprehensive Testing Program (Grades 1-8)

The Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) is a rigorous assessment for high achieving students in areas such as reading, listening, vocabulary, writing, science (online only) and mathematics. Verbal and quantitative reasoning subtests are part of the CTP beginning in Grade 3.

Advanced Placement Exams
(Grades 9-12)

High school students across the country and around the world take AP courses and exams to challenge themselves, explore their interests, and earn college credit and placement.

(Grades 8-11)

Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test - This is a preliminary measure of a high school student's readiness for college and is cosponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

(Grades 11-12)

The SAT and ACT measure a high school student's readiness for college.
